I am aware that this usually happens when the SCP files have segment or frame numbers that are larger than the specified parameter file, question though is: How does one track down which SCP file caused the problem? Would any options with trace parameters be useful?
use trace option T -4 on the HCompV command line to see the feature files being loaded, listed in HCompV.log. This should help to locate which line of the scp file is causing the problem.
